[Voice] Looking for Patterns

If anyone's up for it, how about some show and tell about the nightmares? ...I'll share mine on the board if anyone's interested in sharing theirs. Maybe there's a connection.

Heartless are...monsters that show up around here sometimes, right?

Yeah. People who lose their hearts typically become Heartless themselves.

They sound kind of like Cei'th.

Wanna explain?

If a person doesn't complete the task a fal'Cie gives them, they turn into a monster, called a Cie'th.

Sounds like a curse.

Yeah.

[Pauses.] ...You know all about that.

[Long Pause]

Most people don't want to destroy the ground beneath their feet.

Then you've never met anyone like them. We can't destroy Cocoon without killing Orphen.

Then they're insane.

What's Orphen?

Cocoon's a planet that floats in the sky, above Pulse.

Orphen's the fal'Cie that holds it up.

Then that means one planet would crash into another.

You already said they're insane.

But it means even more lives are at stake.

Is there a time limit? How long can you stall?

We're not sure. We all have brands that change the longer we take. If they get too far...

Can you tell how far along your brand is?

Uh-uh. I'd have to ask Fang.

Has the brand changed at all while you've been in Castle Oblivion?
