If anyone's up for it, how about some show and tell about the nightmares? ...I'll share mine on the board if anyone's interested in sharing theirs. Maybe there's a connection.

That still doesn't make any sense.

We're in a city in a castle. Best I can do is make guesses.

Why would they go through the effort of giving us all nightmares just to learn something they can already find out?

Because some of us have moved on from our pasts or their inner demons. Others haven't.

If they can find out what are memories are, they could tell whether we're still afraid of something or not. Giving us nightmares doesn't make that any different.

Depends on whether they sample all or some of our memories, I guess. I'll leave memory and heart theories to Ansem the Wise.

Not really. I don't know a lot about this place.

...Yeah. But he's gone. And I don't think he'd do this.

...Probably some sort of technology that involved digitizing our dreams to keep tabs.

I never saw him make that. Just that this is his style.

...You brought up the question of whether the "natives" even dream. I'd be surprised if the new mayor could pull this off, but it might be a way to try to drive us off. Why try to live somewhere you can't sleep?

The big problem is... How? I doubt any native here has that kind of know-how.
